Our fundamental biological and translational research studies analyze the functional significance of several novel proteins (e.g. FAM168 (pMANI) and FAM72 (p17)), potentially related to higher brain functions, neuro-immunological diseases and cancer, using animal models (e.g.: transgenic and conditional knock-out mice), CRISPR genome editing, stem cells (neural and iPSCs), quantitative proteomics and bioinformatics.
